Free tiers

Janitor AI's free tier is the stronger one. It allows unlimited chats on its own model, JLLM, with a context of roughly eight to nine thousand tokens. SpicyChat also publishes no message cap, but its free tier shows ads, holds 4,096 tokens and caps replies at 180 tokens.

Janitor AI also lets you connect an outside model with your own API key at no charge from Janitor AI, which no free SpicyChat account can do.

Paid plans

Janitor AI has one plan, janitor+, billed monthly, or yearly on the website, which adds five times the free context, priority routing, enhanced swipes and a Router balance for pay-per-token models. SpicyChat has three plans, monthly or yearly, and raised all of them on September 8, 2026. Its top plan reaches a context of up to 32,768 tokens.

Both sell yearly billing that costs less than twelve months: janitor+ on the website, and all three of SpicyChat's plans. Neither sells credits.

Memory, images and voice

SpicyChat is ahead on features. Its Semantic Memory 2.0 stores details beyond the context window and its Memory Manager lets you edit them. It generates conversation images, explicit in NSFW mode, and its top plan reads replies aloud. Janitor AI has none of these today; its janitor+ launch post described voice and images as plans for later.

Janitor AI's answer is model choice: through a proxy or Router you can pick a stronger model for the writing itself.

Apps, age checks and privacy

Janitor AI has official apps on the App Store and Google Play since February 2026, though they filter adult content until you enable it on the website. SpicyChat has no App Store app and offers Android as a direct download. SpicyChat checks age with a selfie or ID in France, the UK, Italy, Australia and 26 US states; Janitor AI does so in the UK, Australia and Brazil, and elsewhere both rely on self-declaration.

On privacy, Janitor AI's policy says it does not sell personal data and chats are private unless you publish them. SpicyChat's terms say it may use, sell and license the content generated in chats. Neither says clearly whether chats train its models.
