Pick CrushOn AI if you want an iPhone or Android app, the cheapest yearly plan and unlimited free models with monthly credits. Pick SpicyChat if you want an editable long-term memory, conversation images and no credits to track. Both allow explicit text for adults. SpicyChat verifies age in more places, and its terms claim broader rights over chat content.

CrushOn AI and SpicyChat are the two sites most people compare when they want uncensored character roleplay, and on the surface they look alike: huge community libraries, a free tier, paid plans that raise memory. Underneath they are built differently. CrushOn meters its better models with credits and sells five memberships; SpicyChat has three fixed plans and no credits. CrushOn has store apps under other names; SpicyChat lost its iOS app in 2025.

Which should you pick?

Pick CrushOn AI if you want an official phone app on iOS or Android, since SpicyChat has no App Store app and its Android app is a direct download.
Pick CrushOn AI if price matters most: its yearly Standard plan is the cheaper paid entry, and the free tier includes unlimited free models.
Pick SpicyChat AI if you want to see and edit what characters remember, through SpicyChat's Memory Manager.
Pick SpicyChat AI if you want pictures of the scene in your chat: conversation images are included on its upper plans, where CrushOn generates none.
Pick SpicyChat AI if you prefer a fixed monthly price with no credits to run out.

Free tiers: credits against a short context

Both let you chat free every day. CrushOn gives unlimited use of its free models plus 100 message credits a month for the better ones, with an 8K memory window, and it deletes an idle free account's history after seven days. SpicyChat publishes no message cap but shows ads, holds a context of 4,096 tokens and caps replies at 180 tokens.

In practice CrushOn's free tier remembers more of a story, while SpicyChat's never runs out of credits because it has none.

Paid plans and what they buy

CrushOn has five memberships, from Standard to Imperial. Each raises the monthly credit allowance, every paid plan unlocks 16K memory models, and Elite and Imperial reach 24K. A separate Pro Chat Package gives unlimited use of its pro models. SpicyChat has three plans. Get a Taste removes ads, True Supporter doubles the context and adds images on selected characters, and I'm All In goes up to 32,768 tokens with voices and images on any character.

At the top, SpicyChat's largest context is bigger than CrushOn's. At the bottom, CrushOn's cheapest paid plan gives more memory than SpicyChat's. SpicyChat raised all three plans on September 8, 2026.

Memory, images and voice

SpicyChat has the more developed memory: besides its context window, Semantic Memory 2.0 stores details from your chats and a Memory Manager lets you edit, pin or delete them. CrushOn relies on its context window, pinned text and automatic summaries.

SpicyChat generates conversation images, which can be explicit in NSFW mode; CrushOn lists no image generation. For voice, CrushOn's paid plans include voice messages and AI voice replies, and SpicyChat's top plan reads replies aloud. Neither offers live calls.

Apps, age checks and privacy

CrushOn's apps are on the App Store as Crushmash and on Google Play as JollyChatter, linked from its site. SpicyChat's iOS app was removed by Apple in August 2025, and its Android app is downloaded from its own site. On age, CrushOn relies on self-declaration; SpicyChat requires a selfie or ID check before adult content in France, the UK, Italy, Australia and 26 US states.

Both privacy positions have weak spots. CrushOn's policy says chat content is used in a general way to train its models. SpicyChat's terms say it may use, sell and license the content generated in chats. Neither sets a fixed retention period, and both document deletion. Their safety pages quote each clause.
