EVA AI, Intimate and Paradot are off the App Store: what still works

Three AI companion apps can no longer be downloaded on an iPhone: EVA AI, Intimate and Paradot. Nobody announced it. Our daily App Store tracker found all three missing on its first full run on November 8, and we confirmed it by hand the same morning. This page sets out what we found for each app and what still works.

Status on November 8, 4:05 a.m. Eastern: none of the three is on the App Store in any of the 53 storefronts we check, including the US, the UK, Canada and Australia, and no company has said why. All three are still on Google Play. Intimate's and Paradot's websites load. Our App Store tracker checks them and about 145 other AI companion apps every morning.

EVA AI

EVA AI is a companion app from Novi Limited, a company registered in Cyprus, where you pick or design one AI character and get closer to it over time. On the App Store it was called EVA AI Soulmate. When we read its US listing on October 3 it had about 24,600 ratings averaging 4.3, and a version released on September 24. The Internet Archive last saved the US listing live on October 8.

On November 8, Apple's app lookup returned no listing for it in any of the 53 storefronts we check, and its App Store page returned Not Found in the US, the UK, Canada and Australia. An App Store search for EVA AI and for Novi Limited showed nothing from the company under a new name. We found no statement from Novi Limited, on its website or on the app's subreddit, and Apple has said nothing.

The Android app, also called EVA AI Soulmate, is on Google Play with an update dated November 6. EVA AI has no web version: chat happens in the apps.

Intimate

Intimate is a companion app from Growing Pains LLC with voice calls and an adult mode you switch on in settings (our Intimate review has its prices, read in the iPhone app on October 18). The Internet Archive last saved its US App Store listing live on October 29.

On November 8 the listing, Intimate - AI Girlfriend Chat, was missing from all 53 storefronts we check, and its App Store page returned Not Found in the US, the UK, Canada and Australia. Another app called IntimateAI - Girlfriend & More is on the App Store, but it comes from a different company and is not this app. Growing Pains LLC still has a different app on the App Store. Nobody has said why Intimate is gone.

Intimate's Android app is on Google Play, with an update dated September 30, and its website, myintimate.app, loads.

Paradot

Paradot is built around one "AI Being" with its own memory. Its iPhone app, sold by Dots Parallel TX Limited, had not been updated since August 2025. This is the second time this autumn it has left the App Store. On September 21 a user on the app's subreddit wrote that they could no longer find it in the iOS store, and on October 10 another posted that "Paradot is back on iOS". We read its live US listing on October 3.

On November 8 it was missing again from all 53 storefronts we check. Nobody has said why, this time or in September.

Paradot still runs on Android, listed on Google Play as Paradot: Personal AI chat from WITHFEELING.AI with an update dated September 25, and in a browser at paradot.ai. On November 6 a user posted on the subreddit that they were still enjoying it.

If you pay through the App Store

None of the three companies has said what happens to iPhone subscriptions. A plan bought through the App Store is billed and cancelled by Apple: open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions (Apple's guide). Refunds for App Store purchases are Apple's decision.

What we updated

• The shutdowns and store removals table now lists all three, and our change log has a dated entry for each.
• Our Intimate review now lists it on Android and the web, with its Google Play rating, and the Candy AI alternatives page no longer counts Intimate among the apps on the App Store.
• If any of the three returns to the App Store, our tracker will record the date and we will add it here.
